Great place for Japanese-style curry. Depending on the topping choice, the amount of food you get for the price is really good. The taste is much better than other places that make their Japanese-style curry way too sweet. Fast service as well.

A friend of mine that lived in Japan recommended this spot to me so I really wanted to try it. After browsing the options, there were many things I wanted to try. I decided to go with what appears to be the most popular—Chicken Cutlet with Cheese (spicy). I loved this dish. I've never had a cheddar cheese with curry before and it was delicious. The curry was spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Before looking into this spot, I didn't even know curry was common in Japanese culture. I highly recommend checking this spot out. There are locations in a few different cities across the US.

I really liked the food. I would eat here again for sure. I had lightly crisped chicken cutlets with mild curry....it was really good. It is mostly order and go, with limited seating right there, but tons of sets in food court. Food came reasonably fast. I ordered during busy time. Staff was really nice.

Love their curry! It can get busy but its so worth the wait. The nice thing about here is you can sit down (although only 6 seats) rather than fight other patrons in the food court for seats. The only other downfall is CASH ONLY. Food is delicious and very fast service.

It's a really good place to eat at a counter style eatery. Not that many seats to eat at so if there is none, order a takeout and eat at the foodcourt. The menu is in English and Japanese. The prices are affordable. The service is great and the food is very delicious. This is the brown curry of Japan and not that yellow type. You can order spicy or mild. One thing that gets me is I only carry credit cards and they only take cash.

We miss dining in at Pearl Kai location so we finally made time to go to McCully location and we loved it. Food just taste better when you dine in, instead of ordering take out haha Will be coming back more often till Pearl Kai gets it together and reopen to dine in????

One of my favs for comfort food! Service is pretty good and fast. It's CASH ONLY. Vegan tip????: Both their mild and spicy broths are vegan so you can order any veggie dish. Try different combos to see what you like. Want extra protein? Add tofu! (NOT mabo tofu - that dish has pork in it).

Compared with the price, the taste is good! You should try it! With croquette so yummy!!

Whenever I crave Japanese curry and katsu, I come to this place. Love the food and prices here.

Good was prepared well and tasty. Service was top notch. The curry was so well seasoned.
